ONE:
I am so proud of myself! I have the babies Easter baskets all stuffed and ready. I was going to tell you I did really good and didn’t go overboard, but now as I look at their baskets and the few toys you can’t see, I realize I may have. 😉 Celebrating the holidays with kids is so much!! I can already see the excitement on their sweet little faces!
TWO:
How beautiful is this outdoor space? I am pretty sure I would never leave. I am dying to spruce up our back deck with some new pillows and and a new pouf, I just can’f find anything I love! I am open if you guys have suggestions on where to look!
THREE:
Taylor and Carson both loves books! { I know funny considering I HATE to read} But anywho they really love them. Their new thing in the mornings is to grab a stack, and I mean like 50 books, and take them to Taylor’s room. They both sit in the chair together and Carson “reads” her books. Sweet boy has convinced himself he can really read, and I just don’t have the heart to tell him that’s not really what the words are. It really is the sweetest thing ever!
FOUR:
I am being such a tease by posting this, but Todd and I made the most amazing shrimp tacos last night! You will have to wait until next week for the healthy no mayo slaw 🙂 It’s pretty delicious!
FIVE:
And because we had spring break this week, I had to share this! I swear this is how my little stinkers think too! On a real note, I honestly loved having no schedule and more laid back time with my babies!
So much awesomeness in this post – LOVE that outdoor space, it's so cute that Carson reads to Taylor and that eCard is great haha, so true!
Have a great weekend!
My boys are on vacation next week and I can't wait to just relax with them! Your Easter baskets are adorable. It is definitely hard not to go overboard.
That outdoor space is amazing…and I wish I still got an Easter Basket! Those look adorable!!!
That ecard is so true! And love the kids' Easter baskets!
first of all, amen to the toy graphic…this is SO true!! love what you did with their easter baskets mama…ADORABLE! and them reading together makes me so stinking excited for what's to come with my girls. hope yall have a great easter weekend! OXOX
You are so on top of it. I'm still putting our baskets together. And I don't think you went overboard compared to some I've seen where it's basically a basket filled with toys, candy, etc and then completely surrounded by more stuff. Out of control!
I'm dying over that funny card. So true! I have pretty nothing but one jelly cat for our Easter Baskets. God please don't let M's meeting run late this afternoon. I have GOT to get out to shop!
I've got all the Easter stuff, it's just not yet put into their baskets 🙂 I love how Taylor is rockin' her Hunter's with her pjs…and it is great that he makes up the story as he goes because that is just fostering his imagination and creativity! 🙂
Adorable baskets! Looks like lots of fun goodies in there!
ummm way to go on those baskets! Love them- looks like they are on display for a magazine! haha Looking forward to the recipe because I could go for those right now even though it is before 11am! Have a great weekend! xoxo
those shrimp tacos look amazing! so do the baskets, i want one 🙂
Those baskets are too cute! I just did a mini post on what is going in B's basket (link below). That is fantastic that they are such good readers, I know B just loves flipping through books (faster than I can read the words.) Do you guys have the Knuffle Bunny? It is a great book with a bunny theme (so appropriate for this time of year.) And Taylor wearing the wellies with her pajamas is too cute! Have a great Easter weekend!
