Happy Thursday guys!! I hope you all are having an awesome week!
Today I thought I would switch gears a little and share 10 things about myself. Some are funny, some are silly, and some are just real raw things I don’t talk about often. So, these facts are kind of all over the place, just like me most of the time 😉
ONE // When I was a little girl I wanted to be a country singer. I could NOT, and still can NOT, carry a tune to save my life. But that didn’t stop me from dreaming and imagining myself up on stage singing my little heart out.
TWO // Speaking of music and being all over the place, my first three CD’s were Sammy Kershaw, Doug Supernaw, and hold your breath….Aerosmith (Big Ones). I mean, talk about a random selection! And still to this day, I can sing you every word to every song on that Aerosmith CD.
THREE // I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was nine years old. From that day on, I remember not feeling smart enough, not feeling good enough, and just feeling so different from everyone else around me. Now in my thirty’s, I am learning so much about this ‘disorder’. I can not wait to share everything I am reading and learning with you guys. Stay tuned, as this is going to have it’s own post soon!
FIVE // I hate condiments!! I mean, I really can not stand them! I do not eat mustard, ketchup, or mayonnaise. I will occasionally eat bbq sauce with my nuggets, but that’s about it.
SIX // When I was 21 I graduated from cosmetology school. I graduated fully trained in hair, skin, and nails. It was a full year of class from 8-4 everyday, and I am pretty sure I can still do a roller-set and a facial in my sleep 🙂 I learned so much about myself through that experience, and met some really awesome people.
SEVEN // I have always wanted to skydive, and I have no fear of heights whatsoever. I really want Todd to go with me, but he says “Hell no, not in a million years.” Ha! So, I’ll be sure to let you guys know if I go jumping out of a plane solo anytime soon 😉 When I say solo, I clearly mean with a trained instructor hooked to my back!
EIGHT // I started babysitting when I was 11 years old. In my senior year in high school I had early dismissal at 11:00 and I nannied full time for two families. One family had two boys and the other had one boy. It was one of the happiest times in my life, and I loved those little boys like they were my own. I had always thought I wanted to be a stay at home mom, and after that experience it reassured me that there was no doubt.
NINE // Todd and I knew each other and hung out almost every weekend for two years before we started dating. We were dating other people at the time, but deep down we knew we had a special connection.
TEN // The nurses and doctors agreed to let my mom and Todd scrub in for my c-section with Taylor. My mom watched the entire operation behind the curtain while Todd held my hand and stayed very close to my face 🙂 My mom said it was one of the most exciting, nerve-racking, and amazing things she had ever witnessed.
I want to skydive but I am terrified of heights so probably never will. My mom was in the delivery room for the birth of my third child and she said it was the most amazing thing she had ever witnessed but would never do it again, labor was hard and she said she didn't like seeing me in so much pain not being able to do anything to help, even though she knew the pain was a "good" pain. And really no condiments,,, I could never eat a burger or hot dog without ketchup mustard and relish! Mayo does kinda freak me out a bit though! Love this post!

You sound just like Todd 😂 and I love your mama was in the delivery room too! And yea mayo is the worst, it just looks disgusting!!!
