I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
We had a weekend filled with great friends, pretty good food, and lots of laughs. On Friday we had a couples date night at Edmonds Oast. I have to say that I was less than impressed with the food. I had heard so many great things about this place, but unfortunately we didn’t love anything we ate. But, the company sure was great and the drinks were’t bad either.
On Saturday Todd and I hosted a cookout at our house. We invited some of the neighbors over and kept things real simple with burgers and dogs. I did, however, whip up a little champagne bar 🙂 I love any excuse to bust out my pink bar cart.
We had such a great time and I can’t remember the last time I have laughed as much as I did on Saturday. Life is so much fun when you have amazing friends to share it with.
Note to self, champagne through little pink straws goes down really fast 😉

We were not fans of Edmund's Oast either! It's too bad, because everyone raves about it. The only thing I would even eat on their menu was the burger.. and even that wasn't good.
