Seriously it’s already time to get on it!
Not going to lie I am struggling this year. Carson received all his big toys form “Santa” last year. This makes me happy and sad. Happy because daddy/Santas wallet will not be hurting as bad. But sad because there will not be anything Big and exciting on Christmas morning.
Still trying to convince Todd we need one more jump castle. The man thinks I am nuts (we already have two). But really can you have too many jump castles? I think not! Plus I was thinking going totally different this year and busting out this bad boy.
So this is really what I have so far.
I am open to a few more ideas if you have any?
Carson’s List
Taylor’s List
So have you guys started Santa shopping yet? (or did I just stress you out thinking about it)?
I love the idea of the new slide. I might have to copy that! We have one with the water feature and it's money for summertime fun with the kiddos!
love your picks! I'm having a really hard time with Christmas for Tagg this year. He needs NOTHING!!!! Every toy a one year old could want we just got last year for Wells. Even the more boy type things like blocks, cars and trucks, thomas the train sets. Wells is getting older and needs more things to stimulate her imagination than he does. He won't notice this year so he might just get things he needs like cheerios and diapers and pajamas! Ha! He'll be thrilled to play with the boxes and packaging anyway.
I'm done! My lil man (2.5) is getting Lego Duplos (his fave), a Thomas station, a great set of transportation books I found at Costco, Richard Scarry books (also his fave), a Little People Advent Calendar before Christmas, and maybe some rain boots-still trying to figure out which ones.
It sure seems like you are materially very well off. How about taking your son along while you shop for and then present the goods to a needy kid? I know he's small, but instilling good will and Christian charity can never come too soon!
I'm obsessed with those jammies! I've definitely started thinking about it. Mine are very similar in age to your two so I might steal some of your ideas though!
Dear Jennifer,
That's a bold statement considering you don't know me at all.And thanks for that suggestion, but we already give at Christmas to needy kids! Every year we also participate in the shoe-box Christmas operation.
Great picks! I heard an idea the other day for presents for kids: something you want, something you need, something you wear, something you read! Thought it was such a near idea and looks like you're on the right track with that!
Hey girl don't forget about the Hess trucks. An easy very inexspensive gift that my boys love! Great gift to give each year!
Oh yes, I highly 2nd the HESS trucks! I pre-ordered several for all the lil boys in our life! They are a huge hit.
I am having the same problem with my boys (11&5). I guess it's a good problem to have! If Carson is into trains, the new Thomas remote control with steam looks really cute. If you don't have the classic Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends stories, I really recommend them for little boys. They are the original stories by Rev. Awdry and are great to read out loud. A bounce house is something I'm trying to talk my husband into.
Just saw 3 different books like the one on Carson's list tonight at Costco!
OMG! I have been looking for a pretend makeup kit for E for forever! That'll definitely be under the tree for sure, for her this Christmas!! Every one that I've found has real lip gloss, etc. love that this is all the pretend stuff! Thanks!!
