A great day for the Hewitt’s! First, I just want to say this was most definitely one of the best days of my life……unbelievable day. Second, I want to say that is was very important for Caycee that I do this post for those of you out there following along. I just ask that you bear with me…….I can check emails with the best of them, but I don’t have a facebook, I sure as heck don’t have a blog (that I actually have control over anyway) so right now I’m just sitting here hoping this actually gets posted so I will have pleased my little Caycee.
Anyway, our beautiful little Taylor was born at 7:36 this morn weighing in at 7 lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long. She is doing great and actually slept from 9:45 this morning until 5:30 this evening. Only reason she even woke up then is because as Caycee and I sat there and talked it struck me that there may be a disaster in her diaper as it had been quite some time since that kind of thought crossed either of our minds. So, at just before 5:30 I decided to check things out and just as I had pictured there was quite the disaster waiting on me so I went on to change my first girl-baby diaper. This just so happened to finally wake her up and Caycee then went on to feed her as it had been close to 8 hrs since baby Taylor’s last meal.
Caycee is also doing well and as she fed Taylor I was instructed to go to Subway to pick up a pepperoni, bacon, and cheese sub. Again, she made it very clear that it was extremely important that I post some info on our day along with some pictures……….I sure as heck hope these pictures turn out for you guys…..here ya go…hope you enjoy!
