Hello sweet friends and happy Monday. We had a really fun weekend, but I am going to really have to get back into the habit of pulling out my phone and taking more pictures again. It’s so funny how when you stop doing something for a while, it’s so hard to remember to do it. I told myself on Friday that I was going to make sure to take lots of pictures this weekend, and I think I took two or maybe three, and zero of the kids.
// On Friday Todd and headed downtown to enjoy a nice lunch date before all the rain came in. He had never been to 167 Raw, so I knew this is where I needed to take him. He loved everything, and said the oysters were the best he had ever had.
And their crab dip is the stuff dreams are made of.
After lunch we walked across the street to Chocolat by Adam Turoni . It’s such a beautiful store, and it’s so fun and unique. But I think the wine at lunch played a part in me thinking the first few pieces I ate were good, because over the next few days we ate more pieces, and they weren’t good at all. So for the very high price and the underwhelming flavors, I don’t think we will be back here. When downtown, I’ll stick with my Christophe Artisan Chocolatier from now on, it’s the chocolate ever.
// Saturday was cold and rainy, and we pretty much spent the day in our pajamas watching movies. Then on Saturday evening Todd and I had a date night with some of our old neighbors/friends. We went to Harrys at the Daniel Island Club, and it was so delicious, but once again I snapped zero pictures.
I wore and old Lilly Pulitzer dress that is still one of my favorites. I absolutely love this pink color, and I am so excited they are bring some new dresses out for spring! My favorites right now are this one and this one.
// On Sunday my in-laws came to town to visit with us and have lunch. We had the best time, and I got so caught up talking with Todds mom, that I once again didn’t snap any pictures 🙁
But I made this Alfredo Chicken Lasagna , and these air fryer green beans for the first time. Both turned out delicious and everyone including the kids loved it. Also I ran our of mozzarella cheese, so I had to improvise with a little bit of cheddar cheese.
// And totally random, but I ordered these eye mask last night and I can not wait to try them out. So many of you guys have messaged me telling me they are amazing!!!
// And last, I leave with this motivational quote that popped up first thing on my Pinterest account this morning.
