// This was the first weekend in over a month that we didn’t have to travel…and it was SOOO nice! Sometimes I forget how much Todd and I both love being home and not having any plans. I also forgot how much I love my yoga pants and no makeup 🙂
And speaking of yoga pants, I grabbed these, these, and these from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I love all three of them, but these are the softest and they are perfect for just lounging. I wouldn’t suggest running in them as they are not as compressed as the other two, but they would be great for barre or yoga! And you can find the full legging version here, and the capri version here,
both are part of the sale!
// On Saturday, we took a quick visit to peek at our new house and grab some lunch on the island. The Islander is one of our favorite spots to eat at because we all love the food and the atmosphere. If you ever visit, you must get the steak tacos and if you have kids get them the fried shrimp sushi bowl.
// Saturday evening, Todd and I got the kids down pretty early (we had friends over Friday and they were up super late) and we enjoyed some quiet time to ourselves and we watched a movie in bed. We watched the movie Miracles from Heaven and it was amazing. I cried through about 80% of it, but it was one of the most touching stories (also based off of a true story) I have ever seen.
// Sunday morning, Todd and I decided to take the kids to the Aquarium. We have not been as a family in over a year, and I was happy to see that both kids still loved it. Our favorite part was getting to touch the big stingrays at the new Shark Shallows exhibit, and of course, the cute sea otters. I think Taylor and I could sit and watch these adorable little creatures swim and play all day long.
// Sunday evening, I went out for a little last minute pizza date at Andolini’s with some girlfriends. Two of my friends that recently moved away were back in town for the night, so an
impromptu dinner out was a must.
