So……..we are still patiently impatiently waiting on the city to give us the permit to break ground. Good news is, we are meeting with the builder next week to finalize all the details being that they think the permit should arrive any day now.
One of the main reasons I mentioned ‘impatiently’ is because Carson will be starting at a new school next year and the commute is not going to be fun from WA to DI everyday. The drive is around 15 to 20 minutes with little to no traffic, so we are going to be doing a lot of driving until our home is move-in ready! Not to mention, we are really excited and ready for our new home!!
// My little man had a baseball game last night, and even though his team lost, they played their little hearts out. It was so much fun to watch. I know I’ve said this before, but I am really so impressed with how great Carson is doing and his love for the game. And Taylor and I have become quite the cheerleaders on the sidelines 🙂
What I wore.
Swing Dress (only $34) // Necklace // Bracelet // Hayden Reis Middy // Flip-flops
// While I was grocery shopping on Monday I picked up the most gorgeous blooms. Harris Teeter now has peonies on sale…$6.99 for a bunch of three! I wrapped the tulips in a pretty tuile bow and took them to Taylor’s teachers. Peonies and tulips are my favorite flowers, the only ones that even come close to competing around here are hydrangeas 😉
Also, I get asked all the time about our sink and faucet, so I’ve linked them below along with my new wonderfully smelling candle!
Farmhouse sink // Faucet // Soap dispenser // Candle
Running errands on a beautiful day downtown Charleston last week.
// Last week, the sweet people at Bobbi Brown sent over a surprise package packed full of some amazing products. They also sent one for me to share, so I gave it to my mom. She told me yesterday that she is LOVING the anti-aging serum .
So far, I have tried the detox mask, the lipstick, and the bronzing powder. They have all been fabulous, but the mask is my favorite. My face feels so smooth and clean after I use it.
// And last, because Todd knows me all too well 🙂 I could not stop laughing when I opened this yoga mat on Mother’s Day! He said as soon as he saw this on my blog, it had my name written all over it, and he knew I needed a mat for barre class. I am sure it will provide lots of laughs on Friday, and I am also pretty sure I’ll be dreaming about pizza during the entire class…ha!
Love that yoga mat!! All I do while I'm working out is dream of the next meal I'm going to eat haha. Fingers crossed things get worked out so you can break ground soon- so so exciting!
ok that mat is FABULOUS!!!!
Some people make that commute for work! But yeah, 526 sucks!
I love that soap dispenser! The links aren't active, unfortunately:(
Gracious girl, I am so sorry!! I just fixed all the links! And it's from target btw 🙂
I know, I bet it's terrible during work hours too!!
Haha!!! Isn't it hilarious!
Okay glad I am not alone then girl 😉
