I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! The weather here was so nice so we spent the majority of our time outside. On Saturday, we even snuck in an evening swim after dinner! Well, I should say Todd and the kids did, I just watched, because the water is still a little too cold for me 🙂
// On Friday morning I had a breakfast to attend to celebrate the new Hatch X Buru collaboration! It was such a fun start to my Friday. I also walked away with this fabulous dress!
What I wore
On Friday evening we took dinner to our good friend’s from across the street that just had their third baby. This really is such a sweet baby girl! They already had two boys, so this baby girl was such a special surprise, plus, they didn’t find out during the pregnancy so it really was a big surprise!!
And of course I had to slip on my new dress Friday. All jokes aside, this is the softest, comfiest dress ever!!! And even though you can’t tell in this picture it also has pockets on both sides!
// Saturday morning, Taylor woke up bright and early so she and I decided to head downtown while the boys practiced baseball before Carson’s game. We stopped by my favorite boutique, Simply J, and now I think it may be her favorite as well. Sarah, the owner, had her two precious girls at the store that morning as well, and they had such a blast playing together!
If you are local, you really need to drop in. They have some great new pieces for spring, including a killer collection of Betsy Pittard Jewelry, plus, some amazing art by my girl, Ann Schwartz’s!
After a little shopping, Tay and I decided to stop in at Cookies on King and grab a little snack! Hands down the best cookies you will ever eat. My favorite are the sugar cookies with mini M&Ms…oh my, they are so delicious!
// Then it was off to Carson’s baseball game, where our little man ended up earning the game ball!! At the end of each game his coach pulls all the boys to the side and they talk about the game, and if he feels one of the players has done good enough, he gives his the game ball. I can’t explain how excited I was for our little guy, he was all smiles, as I am sure you can imagine! He and his team played an awesome game, and in the very first inning Carson caught a line drive while playing second base with a runner on first, so he quickly jumped up and threw it to the first baseman (his buddy Mason) to make a double play.
After Carson’s game we headed out to pick up his best buddy Austin for a sleepover at our house.
These two have the BEST time together, and it’s so crazy for me to think that they have been best buddies since they were less than a year old!
After dinner, we all went for an evening swim! I know they had to be freezing their butts off, but they weren’t going to let that stop them.
Especially this little firecracker!
// On Sunday. Taylor woke up, once again, super early and she ready to rock and roll! She went upstairs to play, and after just a few minutes, I heard her in Carson’s room waking up Carson and his buddy 🙂 So, I made the kids a big Sunday breakfast while Todd took the boys outside to fish!
All the kids gobbled up these pancakes so fast you would have thought it was the first time they ever ate pancakes! I guess ’emoji’ pancakes just taste better than the regular one’s…ha!
// Then it was off to the the Celadon Sunday Flea. The kids had a great time jumping on the jump castle and running around, while Todd and I enjoyed the yummy food and the great music.
What I wore
So needless to say, when Sunday evening rolled around we were all pooped. The kids were in bed by 7:30, while Todd and I were in by 9:00 🙂
Love.

You guys make me want to move to Charleston so bad!
I'm so jealous that y'all are already getting pool time in!! Love that dress you got at the Hatch x Buru event! After hearing both women speak at the Summit, I was so inspired by their business mission!
