You know how once you start a house project you find all these other little things you want to change around the house too? Okay, maybe that’s just me, but this kitchen re-do has me craving more changes in our house. Nothing major, just some things here and there that have been on my list for a while.
I have been searching for a new desk for my office/guest room. Here’s the one I have now, technically it’s not a desk, it’s my old vanity. I just want something a little longer and a little more modern.
Insert this bad boy from World Market!! It’s only $199.00! How crazy is that?!?
I am also looking into a new bed in our bedroom. I love the look of an upholstered bed. Here’s a few I have my eye on. Is there one you guys like more? I would love to hear your thoughts. Our current master bedroom is just too black and matchy in my opinion. I think an upholstered bed would really lighten it up.

These gold spheres. I want the smaller one for our upstairs coffee table.
A few more coffee table books and this one is at the top on my list.
Some yummy smelling fall candles and this one never disappoints!
Haha, I have this problem too. I call it DIY ADD. This is probably why there are more unfinished rooms and projects in my house than finished ones….lol. Don't hate me, but I actually love your current desk better than the World Market one! I love the details in it…and you could always switch out the hardware for a fun, quick update. But if you need more space, that's certainly understandable. As far as the beds, the 2nd one is my pick!
I might order that World Market one, I have been wanting a new for my kitchen. Love the tufted bed it will look great in there and check TJMaxx I found those gold spheres there for $4.99!!!

I felt the same about our room and purchased an upholstered bed as well! I was hesitant to spend a lot thinking that it would be a trend that I wouldn't love forever so I goggled it and happened to find the most perfect one online from Kirkland's of all places. We went with a king, and with a coupon code it was only around $300! Love it!!
We have an upholstered headboard and I love it. I bought ours on Amazon for $199!
I recently purchased an upholstered headboard from Home Decorators during one of their sales and free shopping, really nice and large tufted linen, great for the money! Also, Hobby Lobby carries those orbs, bring your coupon, the are super cheap!
We have the Dale upholstered bed from Home Decorators. We really do love it. We waited till black Friday to purchase it. I *think* it was 25% off. It said that it'd take 6-8 weeks for delivery, but we had it before Christmas. Easy to put together too!
That first bed is almost identical to ours! Do it! Love the desk too!

I have that same problem! I absolutely love upholstered beds! You're room is gorgeous now but an upholstered bed would look perfect! Not going to lie I love your old desk more!

my husband had bought a super nice bedroom set but it was all black too, when i was pregnant i couldn't get in or out of the bed so we took it all down and set our box spring mattress to the floor… then i had a c section so it stayed on the floor. needless to say we got rid of all the furniture except the big dresser that i am DYING to paint white and get an upholstered bed too! we painted our room and i am with ya on just wanting it to be a little bit brighter 🙂 were saving our pennies but someday it will be mine!

Girl, I feel you on this. There are always things to be done and things to be replaced, I feel like my style is always evolving. Right now we're making changes to our living room, entrance, spare bedroom (making it into a playroom) and getting new furniture for our master bedroom – I feel a bit overwhelmed haha.
Definately, bed #2 !!
