// I get emails at least once a week asking about kid friendly restaurants here in Charleston, and while we have a few, there really aren’t that many that have really amazing food. So, I was pretty excited when I heard about the new exploratory food court Workshop opening downtown.
And don’t be turned away when you hear the term ‘food court’, because you guys, the food was AMAZING!!!! And trust me, I know because we tried something from all six of the rotating kitchens. And they have a little something for everyone, no matter what type of food you are in the mood for.
Our favorites were Pink Bellies, Slider Gold, and Juan Luis. It is seriously some of the best Vietnamese, Japanese, and Mexican you will ever taste!!
And of course the kids loved the pizza from Slice Co, and of course, the doughnuts from Sambar!
Oh, and this Wicked Watermelon beer may just be my new favorite drink.
The setup was so cool and the kids had a blast running around and playing with the oversized bowling set 🙂

// I finally popped in the new Mylkbar for a much needed manicure yesterday. If you are not familiar with this place, it’s Charleston’s first upscale non-toxic nail and beauty studio! I must say, I was blown away with the beauty and the cleanliness of the studio. And of course, I love my new non-toxic gel manicure! The gel nails at all the other nail studios have damaged my nails with the glue, so I’m so happy to have a place I can go to and get nails that will last longer and won’t do any damage!
New manicure with a fun little design!

// And last, but not least, Charleston is finally getting the cooler weather we’ve all been begging for!!! That being said, it’s time to bust out the “best leggings ever” and all the cozy sweaters!!!!
