// Yesterday was definitely one of those Mondays! And it wasn’t even the kids, they were actually really good and played nicely together most of the day. That being said, clearly it was me. 

I felt like I every time I would try and take one step forward, I ended up taking three steps backwards. For example, I attempted to try start cleaning out the toy room to make things easier when we start packing for the move. Well somehow, after I filled two big trash bags to the rim, it looked like they had more crap than when I started. 

After fumbling around in the toy room I went to the grocery store to try to get ahead of the game and buy everything I needed to make three healthy meals this week. I thought I was doing good until I went to make the first meal last night and I quickly realized I had forgotten two of the ingredients! The other two meals were crockpot meals, so clearly that wasn’t going to work at 5pm! So, by 5:15 I decided it was time to pour a big glass of wine and cook some box kit tacos 🙂

 It’s truly my favorite sweater purchase this season, so much so, I just ordered it in two more colors! And make sure you size down because it runs big! 

 // And speaking of sweaters, I also ordered this one and I LOVE it! It’s the perfect length to wear with leggings and it’s also super soft. This one runs big too, so go down one size. 

// Last week I mentioned that Todd and I started watching the new show on NBC, This is Us. We both love the show, and at this point, we are hooked. 

True confession, one of the main reasons I wanted to start watching this series is because I love one of the main actors, Sterling K Brown. About six years ago I was an extra on the tv series, Army Wives. I ended up being an extra several different times that year because my “extra character” was needed in several different scenes. Long story short, one of the scenes that we shot for about eight hours straight (and I am not exaggerating) was a bar scene and I sat beside Sterling K Brown the entire time. I remeber he was one the nicest, funniest, and definitely the most down to earth out of all the actors. So now, anytime I see him on tv I get silly excited. 

// I ordered this cookbook last week and it just arrived! I can’t wait to make a trip to Trader Joe’s and try some of these recipes! I’ll be sure to report back after I cook a few of them.
