Everyone around this house is pretty bummed that Spring Break is over 🙁  It was so nice not having any particular schedule and letting Carson stay up late to hang with Todd and me.  But at least we ended the break with a fun weekend, complete with friends and gorgeous weather!! 

Friday night we had three of our favorite neighborhood couples over and we had the best time ever. Gosh, I am going to miss these people so much when we move.  Luckily, we won’t be too far away, so I am making them come for regular visits 🙂  Of course, I didn’t get any pictures of us girls all night, but I did snap this one of the boys all huddled up watching a ball game.  It was raining outside, so they all squeezed in under our tiny screened in porch area and I thought they looked so cute…ha! 

What I wore

 And speaking of, if you happened to have missed it, I did a post yesterday featuring some of the new outfits I am loving lately right here. 

// On Saturday, we all slept in pretty late.  When we finally got up and got around to replacing our pajama’s with clothes it was almost lunchtime.  So we headed out for Mexican and also took a trip to the bookstore. 

And this is Carson’s new pose any time I pull out my camera….total goofball! 

Carson picked out some new books and I found this adorable animal mask kit for the kids.  It kept them busy for over two hours on Sunday and  they actually turned out really cute! 

Saturday afternoon, we played outside with friends and soaked up more of the beautiful weather! It was so warm outside that the ice cream truck even made a stop in our neighborhood! As I am sure you can guess, the kids were super excited! 

Sunday was another laid back day and we mostly just hung out around the house.  Todd did manage to take the kids for a quick trip to the pool while I stayed home and cleaned our disaster of a house. Todd said the water was freezing, and that Carson and Taylor didn’t stay in the water long at all 🙂 

That evening we grilled kabobs and I made this spicy honey- garlic roasted cauliflower recipe!  Hands down the best roasted cauliflower I have ever eaten! 

// My new suitcases came in on Saturday, and I must say, I am kind of obsessed!  Being that it is pink, it is sure to stand out in the airport, which means it’s much easier to find when we get off the plane!  I  was also pleasantly surprised at the quality as well, it’s super lightweight and has a TON of space! 

// And last, over the weekend new arrivals arrived at Loft and they are really, really good!
