So, I mentioned that Todd and I had the chance to take a little day date this past Saturday.  Even though they don’t happen often, day dates are my favorite. 

When I heard the news that Chef Robert Carter was “re-inventing” a new lunch menu at Barony Tavern, I knew that’s where I wanted to dine for our Saturday day date. 

And goodness gracious, I am so glad that’s where we decided to go!  If you are a burger lover like myself, you have to go there!!  To top things off, their cocktail and wine selection aren’t too shabby either 😉  

Is it wrong that I wish I had this for breakfast right now?!?

And Todd enjoyed their classic reuben with house-made corned beef.  It did not disappoint. 

And you must, I repeat, you must get their in-house made chips and hot pimento cheese!!  I am pretty sure I could have eaten the entire plate myself, but Todd was not going to let that happen 😉 

It was beautiful and sunny with a nice, cool breeze here on Saturday so jeans, a light sweater, and a scarf ended up being the perfect outfit. 

I also wanted to mention that I am hosting an online Stella and Dot trunk sale with my friend Andrea Powell.  Their new fall collection is absolutely stunning, and I can’t get enough of my new convertible watch!  So many amazing pieces…I am having a hard time deciding what to grab next! That being said, I am pretty certain it will be one of the new pieces below!
