Okay, so yesterday I told you guys my plan to try and come up with five dinner recipes for the week while only spending $100.  That being said, I searched until I found five recipes that weren’t hard to make, that didn’t call for too many ingredients, and that I also knew everyone in my family would eat.  I got everything I needed for all of the recipes yesterday and I only spent $98!

So, I thought I would go ahead and share the recipes I’m planning on making for the rest of this week. This way, when I’m making them over the next three nights I can shoot you guys to this post if you’re interested in any of them!

Disclaimer – I made tacos and used everything straight of the box on Monday night.  I did add in a can of black beans and a bag of this Mexican rice.  And truth is, the kids probably ate this meal better than they will any of the meals I fix the rest of the week…ha!

Tuesday – I made this honey garlic chicken breast and served it with jasmine rice and bananas for the kids.  Everyone loved it and cleaned their plates except for Carson, but he did say he liked it and he ate over half of the chicken I put on his plate so we’re going to call this one a family win!

Wednesday – I will be making spicy, smoked sausage alfredo bake.  I will leave out the spices that make it hot since Reese will be eating it as well.  I am planning on serving this with garlic cheese bread and apples for the kids.  As for Todd and I, I’m planning to make a small side salad.

Thursday – My plan is to make this easy fall-apart pot roast.  I will serve this with jasmine rice, rolls, and strawberries on the side for the kids.  This is the crockpot we have, which we’ve had for years, and it’s always worked great!

Friday – Last…on Friday, I am going to makes these instant pot chicken fajitas.  I’m going to serve these with pinto beans, avocado, and tomato salad!  If you don’t have an instant pot yet, then I cannot recommend this one enough!  You can do so many things with this pot and it’s super easy to use, and also super easy to clean.
