ONE //

I sure hope everyone had a great Halloween last night!!  These two had the best time and now we have more candy than I know what to do with.  I was surprised that after about an hour of trick-or-treating, both Taylor and Carson wanted to come back home and hand out candy instead of continuing to get more candy with their friends.  But hey, I’m not complaining…this preggo mama happily came back, sat on the porch, and relaxed while they handed out candy.  When they woke up this morning they both said that handing out the candy was their favorite part of the night…ha!

TWO //

I am off to the mountains again today, but this time it’s for a relaxing girls trip!  I’ll be a good bit closer to home this time since the house we’re staying at is a couple hours closer.  I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am to get to see all of my girlfriends from high school.  It makes me so happy that even though we don’t get to see each other very often, I still feel so close to these girls.  I’m so glad we still get together after all these years!
It’s going to be cold there all weekend so I’ve listed what I’m planning on packing below.  And I’ll also be packing both of the bigger jackets I showed you all here and here

THREE //

We had another ultrasound this week and it was so exciting to get to see our sweet baby girl in my belly.  Todd and I are both very excited and so ready for January!!

FOUR //

Speaking of being ready for January, at our appointment we had to make a game plan for her birth. As most of you know, I had to have a c-section with both Carson and Taylor, but this time I’ve been given the go-ahead to try and attempt a v-back.  At this point, my percentage is looking pretty good for it being a success, but we really won’t know anything for sure until right before her due date.  That being said, if any of you are comfortable sharing, I would LOVE to hear from any of you that have had a successful (or unsuccessful) v-back and what your experience was like.

FIVE //
Last, but not least, Loft is having a big $35 and under sale this weekend.  There are so many good things included and I have listed a few of my favorites below!

I had a vbac after 2 sections….it was a great experience. Trust your body is my only advice. Its hard to do. I felt like my body failed me twice before. Dr pushing me to allow them to intervene with meds and breaking my water, But I juat let go and let God and I birthed a 9lb 10 oz baby boy in perfect health. My only medication was an epidural which did slow things down a lot.

I have had 2 VBACs after one c/s. One I medicated (not on purpose lol), and one with the epidural. Personally, I went into it knowing risks and symptoms of risks, and I had a checklist of things that would make me feel like it was the right decision: not too big of a baby, head down (my c/s was always crooked and was wrapped in the cord), good heartbeat during labor, etc. My advice is for you to be patient (my dr supported me to go up to 41 weeks, some will go longer), be smart about real risks and be firm if you need to! I know some say epidurals slowed them down, but I think mine helped me relax, so don’t be afraid to have one if you feel the need!
