ONE //
// Todd and I will be celebrating TEN years of marriage! Since this is a pretty big anniversary, we’ve decided to take a fun trip. We’ve been searching destinations for a while now, and we both keep coming back to one gorgeous place. That being said, we are about 99% sure Mayakoba, Mexico is where we’re headed!!! And I’ll be sure and let you guys know all the details as soon as we lock down which hotel we decide on. The picture below is from the Fairmont, which is the one we’re leaning towards right now. And of course I’ve already started searching for perfect vacation attire, and this swimsuit and this dress are calling my name 🙂
TWO //
Todd and I have started up our weekly date nights again and it has been so nice. We originally had plans to eat at The Old Village Post House, but we changed plans due to my Mac unexpectedly crashing yesterday. After running by the Apple store downtown, we decided to hit up one of our all time favorites, Basil. I literally dream about their fresh spring rolls and fried wantons….they are so good!

THREE
Yesterday, I took these two cuties to Chuck E. Cheese to play and eat some pizza. And do you see all those tickets they are sporting? Well, don’t let them fool you….I won those by hitting the jackpot 🙂 Carson thought one of the games wasn’t working, so I went to help him out and when I tried, it landed on the bonus and spit out 100 tickets…ha!

I’ve clearly been on a book kick, and I’m excited to dig into these four new books I recently picked up. I figured once I finished these, maybe I could do a little book review for you guys and do them in order with my favorites first.
My husband and I went to the Fairmont Mayakoba on our mini moon and my in laws just went earlier this year. The hotel was great! If you like being near a town this area isn't the best choice, though you can take a cab to one if you want to explore. The hotel next door- the Banyon Tree also has incredible restaurants. We didn't stay there bc it was a bit out of our price range, but it was a great place to dine. Happy early anniversary!
Not sure if you already booked your trip and if so the mayakoba is amazing! That said check out the grand residences if you haven't booked. Favorite resort in Mexico hands down. All inclusive food is amazing. Rooms amazing. Staff is incredible! No night life if that's what interests you, but by 10 pm I'm exhausted and happy to sit at the lobby bat for a nightcap.
10 years?! That is amazing! And so excited for your trip!
That food looks delicious! x
