ONE //
// I can’t believe our little Tay-bean turned FIVE years old yesterday! We are so proud of the little lady she is becoming. Taylor, you light up a room with your spunk and happiness, you have a heart of gold, and you always like to include everyone. You have a way of keeping everyone in the house laughing. We love you to the moon back sweet girl!

We are having Taylor a small party here at the house on Saturday, so right now our house is covered in puppies and tissue pompoms!
TWO //
I’ve been on the hunt for a good pair of shorts that aren’t too short, and not too tight in the thighs. That being said, not only did I find one pair, I found two!!

Top // Necklace sold out similar here // Shorts (only $59)

I went up to a size 26 in these shorts because I wanted them loose in the waist and legs, but they run tts so go with you regular size unless you prefer them loose.

Off The Shoulder Top (only$35)  // Shorts // Wedges

These shorts are high-waisted (which I love) and they run tts. I’m wearing the 4US.

THREE //
I had some of my favorite ladies over on Wednesday evening for some wine and overdue catching up! We had so much fun telling old stories and laughing our butts off.

Since I knew they were coming over I grabbed these flatbreads at Trader Joe’s, and they were both amazing!!! Neither are gluten free, but I knew that it would only be us girls eating them, so I let it slide 🙂 The one on the right is wild mushroom and black truffle oil, while the one on the left has burrata, prosciutto, and arugula.
I had a few of you on ask about the top I was wearing in my photo on Instastories so here are the details. And these shorts are the new ones that I mentioned above.
// FOUR
I finished the book Spring Fever a few weeks ago, and it was so good that I read it in a day and a half. I’ve realized that reading is really relaxing and somewhat therapeutic…ha! That being said, I would love any other recommendations you ladies have for a few good summer reads.

FIVE //
And last, I leave you with some really funny e-cards! Happy Friday friends…I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Anything by Elin Hilderbrand. All her books are based out of Nantucket and are wonderful!

OH MY GOODNESS!! All these E Cards are so me. Sunday night I went to the store and my husband said, didn't you just go to the store as I was leaving, I said yes, but I am going to get food (a pizza) after being on the boat all day this girl was not cooking, lol. Happy Birthday to Taylor! Her party looks like it will be so fun!

  3. First time commenting on your blog but I had to share that I really think the picture of you with the girls on Wed night shows a different, more authentic (?) side of you. Seems like the more natural action shots show a lot more personality. Probably hard to take these but looks like a lot more fun versus the poses.

  4. Bev says:

Summer Breeze by Nancy Thayer, setting is Boston and Amherst. I have relative in both so it's fun thinking of them. It was recommended by Shay Shull at Mix and Match Momma if you follow her. She's an avid reader and does book reviews every month.
