Update: So it seems many of the shelter have all they need at this point. (Please someone correct me if I am wrong.) So right now the best way to help is going to be to donate. Here are a few of the sites where 100% of the funds will go directly to help those who are suffering!

South Carolina has suffered some major damage over the last few days with all this rain and flooding. It is absolutely heartbreaking! So, you guys, let’s rally and help these families in need!!!
It appears that Columbia, Irmo, and Chapin were hit really, really hard!! The Charleston area, along with plenty of others were hit as well. Please, if you know of anyone in need, email me at Caycee07@hotmail.com.

You are so sweet and have the biggest heart. Seeing these pictures of my hometown on Facebook, and hearing that people have actually died in columbia, is devastating. Thank the Lord my loved ones there are all safe and sound.
I live in Atlanta and just cleaned my closet…have bags of women's and little boy clothes that I would love to donate. I am wondering if you know of any places outside of SC that are collecting stuff to send to flood victims. Would love to make sure it gets to them.
