Did you all have a good weekend? I know we sure did!
We actually did some of our Christmas decorating! I know, I know, it’s not even Thanksgiving, but we are going to be traveling this year so I wanted to go ahead and get a head start. I still have some garland and some twinkly lights to add to the mantel, but I must admit, it makes me pretty happy every time I walk by these stockings. Oh, and those cuties in the corner were working hard on a list for Santa.
I also busted out our Christmas china ๐ I love this pattern so much, and it’s especially fun now that we have little ones. The reindeer may just be my favorite.
The weather here has been so crazy! It was freezing Friday and Saturday, but then on Sunday it was rainy and in the upper 70’s! Either way, I am happy I get to dress Taylor in all her precious winter clothes.
We spent lots of time outside snuggled by the fire. It’s pretty much our favorite thing to do these days.
These two guys had to make sure they got in some snuggle time with mama as well ๐
My North Face fleece has definitely been getting lots of use lately.
On Saturday evening we headed out to meet some good friends of ours for a double birthday celebration! We went to a new restaurant called Craftsmen, and everything we ate was so delicious. Todd and I both agreed this will be a new date night spot!
We ended the weekend spending pretty much the whole day inside on Sunday. It was nasty and rainy so we watched movies, cleaned out the playroom, and watched more movies ๐ We introduced Carson to the movie Home Alone while Taylor napped and I can’t think of the last time I’ve heard Todd and Carson laugh so much. Then (because we are suckers), we let Carson stay up late with us and watch Home Alone 2. I am guessing we probably shouldn’t tell him there’s a part 3 ๐
What a fun weekend x
