Girls Trip to St. John

I’m still over here dreaming about the crystal blue water and all of the amazing food in St. John. This was definitely a girls trip for the books. We had such a wonderful time together, and I’m pretty sure I laughed more in the four days we were there than I have in the last four months.

And since a few of you asked on Instagram, I thought I would share our favorite restaurants and bars, along with a TON of pictures!!

We stayed at the Westin, and I must say, our three bedroom villa was really nice and the breakfast was delicious with a beautiful view. They also had several bars with awesome cocktails, along with a huge pool. I know some of you asked about the construction, but they must be finished or it was on the other side of the resort because none of us noticed any construction going on.

Favorite Restaurants in St John

Zozo’s at The Sugar Mill

This was by far my favorite restaurant. The food, the view, and the wine were all perfection!

I didn’t take any pictures, but I had the watermelon salad and the fresh pappardelle and both were insanely delicious.

Extra Virgin Bistro

This was my second favorite. We all shared the two salads below, and then for my meal, I ordered the maine lobster and fettuccini. The salads were both wonderful and the lobster was cooked just right.

Rhumb Lines

It may not look good, but I promise you, this burger will rock your socks off! I searched high and low for a brunch menu and could not find one online, so if you go on a Sunday make sure you order this burger and the Indigo fries!

As far as bars, we loved the Rum Hut and Beach Bar in Cruz Bay. They were both so much fun, and both had excellent drinks! Plus, they were right on the beach so we could sip and get some sun at the same time 🙂

I swear we spent most of the trip in our swimsuits and cover-ups, so I was a little sad I didn’t get to wear half the stuff I packed for the trip. That being said, as warm as it’s been here in Charleston I know it will all get plenty of use soon.
