Ya’ll I am out of control! No seriously I get on a kick to spruce things up around the house, and I just cant stop. Finally finished up the nook and the living room. Now I am all but foaming at the mouth to change up some things in the master bedroom.
I did give the pillows and duvet a little switch to tie me over for now.
The plan in my head is to get an upholstered headboard, a new rug, and some dresser styling. Until I get my husband on board I will just droll over these beauties.
So tell me, do you do this too? Feel like you almost have your home just like you want it….then bam you found something else to change?
ALL the time- I swear its more prevalent if you stay at home with your kids and notice EVERY single thing every hour of the day…you are not alone!
Your room looks great but I know I get the urge all the time to switch things up! I can't wait to see whats next after the bedroom because I know in a month you will have that room over hauled!
I think it's because we stay home. Before I did I was much more okay with saying ill have things fixed up perfect "in a few years." Also, yes once you get started its an addiction!!!
All the time girl! I like numero 4 the best!
I'm a firm believer that it takes at least a year of living in your house before you can know how it's going to work for you and how you want it to feel. And of course just about that time I start to let my decorating creativity flow, I freaking move. So yes, house tweaking is my specialty. Matt never knows what he's going to see when he walks in the door. Furniture and rugs migrate from room to room and even a room's purpose is up for constant debate. Such fun! And cheaper than therapy!
Yes all the time! haha Your master looks great!
btw– I made our upholstered heaboard for under $100. You can totally do it yourself!
It's hard for me to get the hubby on board for new projects too sometimes. Master bedroom is long overdue for me too! I definitely like the idea of mirrors above the nightstands…ours face the one small window we have, so it might make it seem lighter in there? http://www.styleoyster.blogspot.com
I love this bedroom inspiration. I am always getting the urge to redecorate or give my rooms a small change to make it feel different! I love the direction you are going!
