I just finished this book last week, and like most of the books I’ve read, I just couldn’t put this one down. It’s a romance novel about two young kids that fall in love and they just so happen to be neighbors. It sounds like it would be your typical cheesy teen love story, but there are some crazy twists and turns that make this book much more than just a teen romance. This was my first book by Huntley Fitzpatrick but it will not be my last.

Clearly I must have a major obsession with Colleen Hoover. I have read four of her books now and they were all AMAZING!! That being said, if I had to pick my favorite Ugly Love would be it. I can’t even put into words how good this book was. It’s real, raw, emotional, and in certain parts heartbreaking, but the ending makes it all worth it. And like all of Colleen Hoovers books, you feel like you are right there in the story with them. If you are looking for a new book this fall make sure you pick this one up.

This is another one that you won’t be able to put down, y’all! I actually read this in one day because it was so good. It’s an epic love story with a twist you don’t see coming, and one that will make your jaw drop to the floor and leave your heart in a million pieces. In the end, your heart will be put back together and the tears you have falling will be happy tears.

When I tell you my girl Colleen can write, I mean she can really, really write. With every book of hers that I pick up I’m always thinking to myself, “There is no way this one will be as good as the last.” But I swear, they always are. This book starts off with lots of drama and betrayal, but the betrayal ends up being the best gift Sydney (the main character) could have ever received. This is one of the most beautiful and inspiring love stories that I have ever read. I’ve never made it through one of Colleen Hoovers books with a dry eye and this one was no exception.

This book is not the type that I would usually go for, but I spotted it in the airport and the blurb on the back sounded really intense / easy read. After reading this book, intense would be putting it mildly. This book will you keep you on the edge of your seat and with every chapter you will uncover shocking secrets that will make the hair stand up on your arms. If you liked The Woman In Cabin 10 and Girl on a Train, then you will love this one.

  1. I love a good book recommendation, thanks friend – and it seems like we like very similar reads! I've only read The Couple Next Door on this list and it also made my hair stand up, especially as a mama! Cannot wait to read the others – I've also shared a few book reviews on my blog x
