Good morning friends, and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! 

I am so sorry for the radio silence around here this week, it’s been a crazy one to say the least. Between Carson catching the stomach bug, myself getting sick, and then school being cancelled yesterday, writing my blog this week just didn’t make the cut. 

That being said, everyone is around here is feeling great now…the kiddos are back in school , and I’ve got a lot to catch y’all up on!! 

Last Thursday, our family was invited to stay the night at the new Hotel Bella Grace located downtown Charleston. ,You guys, this is seriously one of the most gorgeous hotels we have ever stayed at, and the location couldn’t be more perfect! 

I mean, how amazing is the decor?!?

Our room was beautiful and the beds felt like we were sleeping on a huge, fluffy cloud! 

This was one of the upstairs dining rooms and there’s also another one across the hall, plus, there’s outdoor dining on the upstairs porch. 

My three loves!  I snapped this photo of them while we were walking to Coast for dinner.  It felt so nice out, and it was such a fun treat to be able to walk to and from dinner with the kiddos! 

I mean, even the carpet and the wallpaper in the hallway were stunning! 

After dinner, we came back to our room and had a nice surprise…a bottle of prosecco and my favorite chocolates were waiting for us!  After getting the kids to bed, we turned on the sound machine, and then Todd and I set up a mini fort with a lot of pillows in the large dressing room area.  We sat there for hours talking, laughing, and enjoying our champagne and chocolates…it was such a fun night!

We all slept in until 8am the next morning, and if you know our kids, that is late.  After that, we all got up and headed down to the adjoined historical Delany House to enjoy an amazing breakfast.  And as you can see below, this isn’t your average hotel breakfast. 

Here are some pictures of us having the best time at one of our all time favorite places…Freshfield’s Village!  We haven’t been out to Kiawah with the kids in almost two years, so it was so much fun to go back and enjoy the music on the green and stay at the Andell Inn for the night! 

Carson was really excited, because he got to bring along one of his best buddies (Logan) to hang with us. As you can probably tell, Taylor is pretty fond of him as well.  She lets him know everytime he’s around that he’s beautiful and that she’s going to marry him…haha!! 

After we checked out of the hotel on Saturday, we headed up the street to Bohicket Marina for our pirate cruise.

Even though we knew Carson and Logan may be a little too old, or should I say think “too cool”, they ended up having the best time!!  The captain and crew members made it so much fun that they both said they would want to do it again. 

Oh, and this little pirate lady LOVED it!!! 

 Todd and I had a blast laughing while watching them have so much fun. 

I had a lot of questions about my $15 baseball tee, so I included the link below. 

Two of my favorite things happened three out of four days this week before 5pm ….comfy pajamas and a big glass of red wine, and I don’t even feel bad about it.  If Todd and I didn’t have a date night and a party to attend tonight, I would be making this situation happen for a fourth night 😉

On Sunday, I helped host a baby shower for two of my dear girlfriends who are both expecting their first baby girl!!!  For my friend Katherine (on the left), this will be her third baby and for my friend Whitney, this will be her fourth!  So let me just say, these little unborn princesses don’t have anything to worry about when it comes to being loved on and protected by their big brothers. 

And last, but not least, all four of us have our Halloween costumes early for once!  You will have to wait to see the costumes for Todd and I because we’re kicking off our supper club Halloween dinner party this year and I know some of our friends that will be attending check the blog out at times 😉
