Hey hey friends, and happy Thursday!!
Last week in my Five on Friday post, I mentioned that Todd and I were in charge of hosting this year’s Halloween supper club. As soon as we chose our month to host, my brain was instantly overloaded with all kinds of ideas. These ideas included (but were not limited too) decorations and whether I should go super creepy or just keep it simple, what main dish I wanted to make and if I needed appetizers along with it, what specialty cocktail I should make, and if I should use vodka or tequila?!? And then…oh yeah, our costumes!!! Omg, our costumes, shit we are the host so we’ve gotta have good costumes!! Oh the adhd brain…when it doesn’t drive you mad, you have to appreciate all the attention to every detail 🙂
That being said, I figured I would share my ideas since we still have a week and a half until Halloween and many of you are still searching for costume ideas or maybe even a little party inspiration.
First up, for decorations I decided to go semi-creepy 😉 I figured my kids would enjoy seeing and playing with all these decorations without it freaking them out. I’m also secretly hoping they will thinks it’s all so cool that they’ll want to help me set everything on Saturday before the party!

Second, here is what I’ve decided on for food so far. This chili looks amazing, and from the reviews, it sounds like it tastes just as good as it looks. I still haven’t decided on a cocktail yet, but when I do (and if it’s good), I’ll be sure to share it with you guys!
And last, but not least, here are some of my favorite Halloween costumes for adults and for kids this year! Click the link here
