I feel like my brain is all over the place right now, so sorry, but today you just get a hodge podge of random things that are on my mind. 

// Sweet Taylor had her four year old shots last week.  And yes, I know we were a little late, but truth be told I was putting off on purpose because I remember how horrible they were when Carson turned four!!  But not for this tough little bean, she didn’t shed one tear…two shots to each leg and not one tear.  But bless her heart, I could tell she felt like crying and seeing her sad face broke my heart probably just as much as it would have if I’d have seen actual tears. 

// Speaking of Taylor, she’s been working really hard on her veterinarian skills 🙂  I knew when I spotted this in TJ Maxx the other day that I had to grab it for her.  She loves it and has been putting it on daily while taking care of all of her “puppies”.

// It’s too bad she can’t treat this silly dog below…ha!  I swear y’all, Rocky seems to know that we feel bad for him now that he has to have insulin shots twice a day so he’s been milking it for all it’s worth.  He now sleeps in our bed every night and the only way he’ll choose to go outside to use the bathroom is if someone will walk him on his leash.   

// I am not sure why I haven’t discussed all the awesome beauty that’s part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.  Anyway, I took a peek last night and noticed about half of it has already sold out 🙁  Is it just me or did Nordstrom sell out of lots of stuff super fast this year? 

Either way, as of this morning all the things below that I purchased are still in stock!  Out of everything, my favorites are my Clarisonic and my GHD flat iron.

// I am in denial that this little guy is going to be a second grader in less than three weeks.  He is truly the most genuine and kind hearted little boy you will ever meet.  I wish so badly that I could just bottle him up at this very stage and keep him like this forever.  Sadly, he struggles with some anxiety like his mama, so we are both a big ball of emotions about the big move that will be happening soon.

 But until school starts, I am trying to soak up every second with him, even if that means

 letting him stay up until 10:00pm watching three episodes of Full House. 

// And I keep forgetting to share a few pictures from an event that Todd and I attended last week at the new downtown restaurant, Le Farfalle.  It was such a fun evening, plus, the food was phenomenal!  If you are visiting Charleston anytime soon you must have dinner here one night! 

This, my friends, is the OCTOPUS CARPACCIO and I surprisingly loved it.

I keep meaning to tell you guys, this dress is on major sale in the pink and navy!  And may I add that this dress has probably been worn more than any other maxi in my closet.  I feel like it’s timeless, yet so unique, and I always get a lot of compliments when I wear it out.
