What a beautiful weekend we had! Things are about to get busy around here for the next couple weeks, so this laid back time with my family was just what I needed. Todd and I looked at each other last night after dinner and we both just smiled. He then said, “It’s been a good weekend hasn’t it?”and I responded, “It’s been really good!”. Why do weekends have to come and go so fast?

Now back to the weekend…………
On Friday night we celebrated one of my dear friends turning another year beautiful 😉 Lauren, I love you, and had so much fun celebrating with you!!
On Saturday morning our neighborhood put on the cutest Easter party. They had 1000+ eggs, a bunny, jump castles, face painting, balloon making, and food trucks. It was pretty neat and the kids had a blast. I feel so blessed that my children get to grow up with all these fun things and wonderful people.
On Saturday afternoon we grilled out and planted our garden. I am so excited about all the fresh veggies and peppers!!!
Then on Sunday we packed up and headed to the beach! It’s pretty much our happy place! There is no place I would rather be than on the beach with my family. The waves, the sand, and smiling happy babies. Nothing can beat it!!!
The kids are on Spring Break this week!!! We have a few playdates planned, some pool time, and we may even go back to the beach. And tonight, Carson, Todd, and I have a date to see Rio 2 🙂

What a fabulous weekend! We had our neighborhood Easter egg hunt this weekend too which was so much fun. And am envious that you live so close to the beach. It's my happy place too.
