Good morning friends and happy Monday!!  We officially have only one week until school starts for both kiddos 🙁  I am usually jumping up and down around this time because they have driven me bat shit crazy by the end of summer, but this summer was different.  This summer was really good, and dare I say, easy?!?  Okay, easy is probably pushing it, so we will just stick with fun!  And just thinking about sending them both off to new schools in less than a week makes me a little sad.
Time, please slow down just a little……because seeing this picture from two years ago has me in a puddle of tears and wishing they could just stay little forever.
But I digress, today I want to chat with y’all about Snapchat v/s Instastories.
I love Instastories way better, but then again, I just never could get the hang of Snapchat.  I’ve actually had my Snapchat account for over six months, but over the six months I’ve posted snaps maybe ten times.  And when I say I couldn’t get the hang of it, what I meant was I couldn’t handle having to think about one more social media outlet to keep up with.  I mean, I don’t even have a Twitter account for crying out loud!!  But Instastories feels totally different to me, it doesn’t really feel like anything extra to keep up with…it just feels like a little added fun and realness to Instagram.
But then I question this………do my Instagram followers really want to see my real life stories and day to day life?  I feel like I share a little of that with you guys on here, but on Instagram I have always kept it more fashion. My fashion posts get way more likes than anything personal, and as since it’s a huge part of my business, it has always seemed like a no brainer to keep it that way, however, since Instastories started I have received a lot of messages telling me to keep the stories coming.  Many messages saying that y’all love the real life stuff…..and even my accent.  True confession of the day, I HATE the way my voice sounds on video, it honestly makes me cringe a little when I hear it…ha!  But hey, it’s the voice God granted me with so I shall jabber on 🙂
All this to say, or ask if you will, what do you guys prefer…….just plain ol’ Instagram, Snapchat, or Instagram along with a little Instastories???
PS… I added a new tab at the top of my header called favorites under $100! I will be updating this weekly, so make sure an check it out for all the newest arrivals and my favorites for under $100!!

I LOVE your insta-stories, please keep them coming! I do love snapchat though, but I understand it being hard doing both and its usually the same info or stories/snaps. The filters on snapchat are pretty hard to give up though.
