Good morning friends and happy Monday! It’s been a while since I’ve shared a life lately post with you guys, so I thought I would catch you guys up and let you know we’ve been up to.
This past Thursday, we had dinner plans with our friends Ashley and Lanier. They were supposed to come to our house, but because of our kitchen cabinet mess getting pushed back,we decided to grill and have dinner at their new house.
I made this appetizer and it was a huge hit! It’s so delicious and easy to make.
It is crostini bread (I picked these up at Whole Foods in the bag), white truffle cheddar spread (also found at Whole Foods with all the other cheeses), prosciutto, and micro greens sprinkled on top.
My girl, Ashley and I with her gorgeous backyard view.
// I found the most beautiful bouquet of flowers at Whole Foods last week. They always have the best flower selection ever.
// Saturday’s casual look…my new striped tee and AG shorts. My shorts are from last year, but here is the same style
in just a slightly different color
On Saturday evening, we had a bunch of our neighbors over and we may or may not have stayed up way too late drinking wine, learning all the Irish dances, and laughing our butts off.
When Sunday morning rolled around, we all felt like Taylor. Unfortunately, Todd and I had quite the outdoor project list to check off and it was way too pretty outside to stay in bed all day.
// I planted a few new herbs in one of my raised garden beds. Ours is from Grandinroad,
but they are sold out. I did find similar ones here
// Taylor and I painted garden stakes to go with our new and old herbs. A few of you asked about Taylor’s art kit. She received it as a gift last Christmas, so I’m not sure where it was from, but I did find a very similar one here
// Sunday night’s dinner was SO good and I know a lot of you wanted the recipe for the orzo pasta and the mushrooms, so here you go!
// And last, but not least, here’s a little peek at our new deck spruce up with Grandinroad
! I will be sharing everything with all the sources later this week. And I know a bunch of you wanted to know the color of the stain we used…it’s called Cedar Naturaltone by Behr.
