Hey friends, and happy Monday!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  We had a pretty laid back weekend around here and didn’t do too much, which was really nice!  Carson and Taylor had friends sleepover on Friday night and then Taylor had cheerleading on Saturday morning.

// On Saturday evening, we just chilled as a family and hung out by the fire.  Thankfully, it cooled off a little Saturday night because it was SO hot during the day.  Our backyard has become our new favorite place to hang out in the evenings!  I had a lot of questions about the lights in the tree and the lights on the playhouse so I have them linked up below.

// This dress came in over the weekend and I love it, but it runs pretty big.  I ordered the medium thinking that was definitely the size I needed, but I had to tie it super tight around the waist and the top was pretty loose.  That being said, I decided to order it in the small for a better fit.  For only $27, it’s such a great dress for now and also later for fall.

// These dish cloths are amazing!!  They clean dishes so well, plus, they are gentle while still cleaning messes on our marble countertops!  But the best part is that they DON’T SMELL, and that’s huge, because our last set would start to smell after one day!  Super random, but I thought I would share because they come in a pack of 15 for under $10 and I love them!

// The days are long, but the years are short.  This is what I try to remind myself daily as I rock sweet Reese to sleep for her naps and bedtime.  I feel like my self care always takes a backseat after I have a baby, and this time, I feel like it has taken a backseat all the way to the very back of the bus…ha!

Getting back into the gym has been so difficult for me this time being that Reese is not used to anyone but Todd and I so she screams and cries the entire time.  I wasn’t able to finish a workout one time out of the four times I tried to take her.  And along with not working out, I haven’t been making the best diet choices either…I’m kind of all or nothing when it comes to diet and exercise, and I have a hard time eating clean when I’m not working out.

All of this to say, something’s got to give because this extra weight has me feeling somewhat down so I’m looking to possibly start doing a workout from home while starting a new diet.  I know there are SO many programs right now for both so I would love to hear any that you guys may recommend!

// I made the most delicious fall cocktail this weekend and I am now obsessed!  Thankfully, I can only have one since I’m still nursing…if I wasn’t, I could have probably take down five of these!  And considering that apple cider is full of sugar, this would not help my weight gain issue either…ha!  Either way, if you’re looking for a nice fall cocktail to serve at a party or just have one or two at home, I highly recommend this one!

I forgot to take a picture of the wine we used.  That being said, I found a pinot grigio that I had here at the house, but you can usually any white wine or even champagne if you prefer!

Hi Caycee! I had a baby in January, so I understand that it's hard to get away! We ended up getting a Peloton a few months ago and it's been the best investment for my health in a long time. They have short and long classes so it's easy to fit it in.

Les Mills Body Combat is a great cardio workout! I do that 3 days a week and yoga the rest of the week. My friend and I did a plank challenge last month and this month is squats/push-ups. I've continuing to plank and gdoing a planksgiving with my two boys – ages 11 and 13. No need for a gym! There's so much to do at home that's free and allows Reese to not cry when you leave her 😉 Good luck!

Beachbody on demand has been my go to with quarantine and gyms being closed where I live. I love the 21 day fix to get started, 30 minutes and that’s it! I like to do barre some days too. Also, I use Modere Trim and liquid collagen. GAME CHANGER. It has given me more energy, less bloating and has made me way more lean, not lots of weight loss but inches!! I can give you more info if interested!

Beachbody on Demand has been a life saver! I started when my daughter was about a year and 6 years later I still love their programs!
