I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day!!! I know I sure did! My sweet babies and husband pampered me all day, it was truly perfect!!
Todd asked me so many times what he could get me for Mothers Day, and my answer every time was, “All I want is a “fancy” brunch at home and some pink peonies.” When I say fancy, I mean flowers on the table, our real china, and a home cooked breakfast. Carson for some reason was so excited about this and kept saying, “I can’t wait to make you your fancy brunch mama!!” It was the sweetest thing ever watching him set the table, he was so proud!!
Such sweet men I have in my life.
After brunch we hopped on our new bikes and took a short ride. I am feeling SO much better, but knew I shouldn’t push it. The breeze was perfect, and my entire family was all smiles. Why did we wait so long to get bikes? Todd and I have decided this will be a new nightly ritual for our family!
After our bike ride Todd told me to go rest up for our surprise date night out! He had lined up a sitter to be at our house at 7, and he was taking me to a movie!!!! I did what I was told, and Taylor and I napped the rest of the day away!! If you haven’t
already. and you need a really good laugh, go see The Other Woman. Todd and I both thought it was hilarious!!
I am truly blessed beyond words with my sweet family. Thank you Lord for allowing me to be a mother to Taylor and Carson, and a wife to such a good man!
Also, thank you to my mama who is such an amazing woman, and who has taught me what it really means to love unconditionally, I love you mama!!!

Also,wanted to let y’all know about all the amazing dresses I found last week under $50.00!!! Hey, I had a lot of downtime 🙂 I was blown away at the cuteness of these!! Most, if not all, would make the perfect throw on dress for the summer. Now the real question, which to choose?

What a great way to spend your Mother's Day! We love our bikes. We started riding when Alice was just a baby and now she rides along beside us with her brother.. Its hard to believe! You look absolutely amazing and seemed to have bounced back in no time. PS- Love that you posted dresses under $50, I am such a "bargain shoppper" and these don't break the wallet. Awwwww, love it! I love a fancy home-cooked meal with fine china and fresh flowers any day over eating out! You can lounge and drink champagne/wine without worrying about driving home! Happy Mother's day!

that first picture of carson is one of the sweetest things i've seen. you must frame that for his future wife! y'all are raising him right! so precious. and your appreciation for him and your husband really shines through and will encourage them even more! glad you guys had a nice time. Looks like the perfect day! I loved seeing the bike pictures b/c that's right up our alley. And I was trying to envision my family riding like that down there (of course we do it where we live now,, but w/o those amazing palm trees.lol).
