Out of all the rooms we get to lay out and design, without a doubt, our new kitchen is what I’m most excited about!  Even though I am no gourmet cook, I can’t wait to get in there and fix meals for our family and friends.  Not to mention, it’s the heart of the home, and no matter what, it’s usually where everyone gathers.  So an open space, with a large island flowing into our family room, is what we have always dreamed of and I can’t wait for it all to come together!  For now, I’m keeping my fingers crossed hoping that the city will move fast and approve our plans so we can break ground soon 🙂
