Todd and I decided two days ago that we are going to pack our bags and head down the road to Kiawah for the weekend!! It’s so not like either of us to be spontaneous, but I am excited! We have been dying to stay at the new Andell Inn, and right now the rates aren’t terrible, so we said why not? I know the kids are going to be in heaven. It’s located right beside Freshfields and that’s our favorite place ever! We plan to lounge by the pool (or maybe run around the pool:), hit the beach, and eat delicious food! We are even going to pack our bikes for the trip.
I am looking forward to our little getaway, just the four of us!!
I go for a follow up visit to the doctor on Friday, and the last time he said as long as I wear a one piece (to protect my scar from the sun) I could hit the beach!
What I plan on packing, pending my dress makes it on time 😉 This maxi just arrived, and it’s under $80.00 so it want last long!
You will have to fill me in on the hotel we may need a girls trip this summer!! Great maxi!

I've been to Kiawah once in my life for a nanny job and I fell in love with that Island. It's so gorgeous there and so relaxing. Have the best time!

Have a wonderful time! Love little trips like that as a family – its nice to get away for a few days even if you're just down the road. On a side note, if you ever want to rent a condo/home on the Island I have a few I rent out 🙂
