On Friday, I met my girlfriend, Amy, out on Daniel Island for a quick lunch and to check out some homes for sale.  We stopped in at Blondie’s, a new little coffee and bagel shop on the island.  Umm, not only is it adorable as can be, the bagels are insanely good, plus, all their cream cheeses are made in-house.

What I wore house hunting and bagel lunching 🙂
Slouch Sweater (MAJOR SALE) // Jeans // Booties (30% off) // Necklace
Early Saturday morning, my parents came to town!  It was actually my dad’s birthday, so I was very excited to get to spend it with him (and mom).  That morning we headed back over to Daniel Island and showed my parents a few of the houses and some of the lots we have been looking at.  Then we headed to Dragon Palace to grab some lunch.  If you are a fan of Chinese food, this place will rock your world.  We all ordered something different on the menu and all the dishes were all amazing.  After lunch we let the kids play at the park and then we grabbed some frozen yogurt on the way out.  When we got back to our house my mom and I headed to the grocery store to grab food to make for my dad’s birthday dinner.  And what’s a birthday dinner without a good cocktail, right 🙂  If you are a fan of grapefruit you have to make this drink…it is so good!
We ended the night with a carrot cake from Publix (they are delicious btw) and a card game that went on until midnight 🙂  Todd and I had so much fun with my parents and I can’t remember the last time we all laughed that much together.  All day Sunday all Taylor kept saying is, “I want mimi and papa to come back.”
Sunday morning, we all got up bright and early so my dad could finally show me how to make his famous biscuits!  I call them his famous biscuits because everyone LOVES my dads biscuits.  We all request them every time we go visit.  Carson will literally eat four or five of them.
I love this picture.  You can tell Carson is in serious concentration mode.
Haha…and can you tell which ones were the first batch that I made 🙂  I promise to share his recipe, plus the one we created for the homemade sausage gravy as well!
After my parents left, we did a major house clean up.  After that, we headed to the movies to see Kung Fu Panda 3!
The movie was really good (just as all the Kung Fu Panda’s have been in the past), but our little nugget didn’t quite make it to the end 😉
