Friday //
Friday started out with an amazing lunch and a glass or rose at Laura Alberts with one of my good friends.  If you ever go here to eat, I highly recommend the fried green tomato and pesto ham sandwich with a side of their sweet potato fries.  The sandwich is huge, so we always split this one when we go here.

After lunch, we took a peek at our house.  This is our master bedroom, and I gotta say, I think this is going to be my favorite room in the house.  The view from our back windows is going to be gorgeous once they remove all the shrubs, weeds, etc….eeeek, I am getting giddy just talking about it!
As soon as Todd got home from work (a little early) on Friday, we headed out on our tiki boat excursion with Hydroflynow
You guys, if you have never been hydroflying you really need to try it 🙂 Todd and I both agreed that it was one of the coolest things we have ever experienced and we can’t wait to do it again.

From the pictures it doesn’t look as high as it feels when you are in the air, but trust me, when you are up there looking down it feels super high 😉
Getting up feels awesome and gives you this cool rush…one that I can’t really explain.
On the other hand, going down……..not so much a cool rush 🙂  But honestly, between the life jacket and the helmet, it doesn’t really hurt at all when you fall.
Paddleboarding was also super fun once I got the hang of it.
At one point, I had to get on my knees and and paddle back because I ran right up in the marsh grass behind us. All I could think about was a big gator being in there and deciding to come out and eating me!!  I thought about jumping off the paddleboard and swimming back, but I didn’t want the people on the tiki hut to think I was a total nutcase…ha!

Todd and I ended the evening with a bottle of wine while watching the sunset from the top of the tiki hut.  The view was breathtaking and the breeze from the top of the tiki hut felt amazing.
Lounging in the hammock they have aboard the hut.

Saturday //
On Saturday (after we spent the morning sleeping in), Todd and I headed out to go grab lunch and do a little shopping on King Street.

Lunch at Bay Street Biergarten was insanely good, and yes, I eat like a man on the weekends.  And yes, I pay for it come Monday……….you know, when the scales are tipping 10lbs up from your normal weight!!!!!!  But man it was good!

A few fun finds while shopping on King Street.

After all the shopping fun we headed out to our friends second annual crabbing contest.  Todd and I did not participate in the crabbing, but it was still a blast.  I love these girls so much and always enjoy an evening hanging out and laughing.
And of course a kid fee evening with friends and this guy always make me smile 🙂

The views from the river house where the party was hosted at may have just been the most gorgeous views in Charleston.

And on the way out there, Todd and I stumbled upon our dream home.  I may or may not have walked all the way up their private driveway to snap this picture.
Sunday //

After we slept in way too late again (or at least I may have), we grabbed brunch, and once again, I made more bad eating decisions…ha!  So bad, but oh so good.  I mean, who can resist homemade blueberry pancakes.
After brunch, I convinced Todd to take me to the movies to see Bad Moms.  It was such a good movie and it had me laughing and crying the entire time.  And even though Todd probably wouldn’t admit it, I think he enjoyed it as well 🙂
