// Our little man turned eight on Thursday, so we celebrated his birthday this past Saturday with some of his buddies at Velocity Air Sports. 

How adorable is this Yokai birthday cake!?! And y’all, it tasted just as good as it looks! For anyone interested, we used Janie from Charleston Cakes Etc.

 The kids had so much fun, and their favorite by far was the dodgeball area.

// Bought the softest, and I do mean the softest top ever last week. As far as sizing goes, it runs tts and I’m wearing the xs. 

// On Friday, my parents came to town for Carson’s party, and my mom brought this old wedding magazine that she had purchased the year her and my dad got married! 

I seriously don’t think my mom and I have laughed this much in years! I mean gracious, clearly hot tubs were in, along with being half nude in magazines…haha! #bless #cheerstotheeighties

// Off the shoulder tunic perfection! I love that it can be worn tucked in with jeans, or with leggings and flats. 

 // Sunday was low key. I spent most of the day in my pajamas organizing and going trough fabrics for the sectional that will be going upstairs.

// Oh yeah, and I finally found a jacket for our upcoming mountain trip! I ordered two different jackets, and this one was my favorite. And the best part was that it was (and still is) 60% off! For sizing reference, it runs tts, but I went with the small to have more room for layering underneath.
