Good morning, friends!! I am so excited to share my favorite books from this summer, along with my favorite lounge and sleep attire from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
It is hard for me to believe that it’s taken me this long to really get into reading because I am now pretty much book obsessed. My favorite time to read is at night after I slip into a pair of cozy pajamas and everyone else in the house is asleep. That being said, I thought it would be fun to pair my favorite books with some of my favorite sleep and lounge pieces.
The only bad thing about reading late at night is that once I get sucked into a book I have the hardest time putting it down and before I know it, it’s 1:00am…oops! Do any of you ladies ever do this?

This was hands down my favorite book this summer, and trust me, you will not be able to put it down. This book is about a love story that is unlike any love story I’ve ever read. I could just cry thinking about how real, raw, and inspiring this book was. It is one I highly recommend, and one that I will never forget.
Oh ladies, this is another page turner. This was the second book I read this summer and I finished it in two days. And let me just tell you, the husband’s secret is nothing you could imagine and it will keep you on the edge of your seat until you find out. The ending was very good and I was left feeling happy even though there were lots of tragic events that took place.

This book is light hearted and a very easy read. I found myself laughing out so many times during this book. Her ‘hissy fit’ when she called off her wedding turns out to be the best decision she could have made.
This book, just like most of Mary Kay Andrews books, is also an easy read. The characters are so relatable in this book and it’s easy to picture yourself being there as all the events unfold. This was another one that I finished in two days because I just had to know what was gong to happen next and how it ended.

Can you guys tell that I’m a big fan of Mary Kay Andrews 🙂 I truly love her style and her writing is so easy to follow. And unlike the other two books above this one has a little more mystery, a little more drama, and just the right amount of humor.
This book is totally different than most of the books I like to read, but a lot of you recommended it so I decided to give it a go. I must say, it will suck you in and keep you guessing until the end. The middle was a little slow, but then a lot of crazy twists started to happen and I couldn’t put it down until I found out how it ended.

This was my first Elin Hilderbrand book but it definitely won’t be my last. This book is about three women who had been married to the same man and were all still in love with him. And even though you want to hate him, he makes that impossible. You realize a lot of his mistakes were from how broken he was inside from things that occurred in his childhood, and that he truly has a good heart. This one will pull at your heartstrings a little, but it has a great ending and you will close it feeling good.

If you get around to reading them I hope you guys enjoy the books, and if you have any other recommendations on any more must reads I would love to know about it. I am planning on doing some reading next week on our flight to Mexico!!!
PS – I am sure that most of you already know, but tomorrow is the public opening for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I had a big box arrive late yesterday so make sure you follow along today on my Instastories, as I will be sharing what I ordered along with sizing and fit information!

Yes! Love Mary Kay Andrews. I finished Spring Fever along with Save The Date (good read!) on vacation last week and now I'm on a mission to read all of her books.

  4. Kilbi says:

Read I let you go, by Clare Mackintosh. Similar in style to the Coleen Hoover book and so good! Also the Nightingale by Kristin Hannah (my favorite book of the year!).

Elin Hilderbrand has a Winter series that is perfect for when the weather gets chilly…First one is Winter Street.
