// Holy moly I woke up with a major headache this morning! I need to remind myself  that I am not as young as I feel after a few glasses of wine, and that the morning really sucks when you’re hungover ha! But regardless of the headache I sure did enjoy lots of laughs with three of my favorite girls!

Our first stop was at The Dewberry. It’s a gorgeous new hotel/restaurant in the heart of downtown Charleston. We all four split a bottle of delicious rose and their small cheese plate. Then we headed to another new restaurant Feathertop for dinner. I am sad to say we were all pretty disappointed with the food, but at least the drinks and company were good 🙂 

// Speaking of Rose, it’s been my drink of choice all summer long. So, I thought I would share with you guys three of my favorites. All three of these are light and dry with very little sweetness. I picked up all of these from our local World Market, but if you don’t have one of those near you I am pretty sure they have most of these online here. 

// And last but not least today is the last day for early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! So if you have a Nordstrom Card and you still have not made all your purchases, now is the time to do it! I have a feeling tomorrow will be bananas, as it usually is when the sale opens up to the public! I am really crossing my fingers though that they will restock a lot of the items that sold out so quickly! I will keep you guys updated if and when they do, because I know a lot of you said 

wanted these booties!

Also, here are a few more items that I purchased this week from the sale. My favorite item so far are these booties, they were a big splurge for me, but I am so happy I finally pulled the trigger. They are timeless and classic and I know I will wear them all fall and winter for years to come.
