Last night, after Todd and I got home from dinner, the four of us piled into Taylor’s playhouse for some after dinner tea 😉  Haha…I am totally kidding, but the four of us did actually get in there and play.  As we were playing, it hit me that I haven’t actually shared this little space with you guys as I had promised.  I know a lot of you had questions and wanted details, so without further delay, here it is!

Oh and this Samantha American girl doll was mine when I was a little girl. It’s so special watching Taylor play with her.

I knew when Taylor turned three I wanted her to have a playhouse.  Growing up, my dad built one for us, and some of my favorite childhood memories are playing in that house.  When my brother and I were a little older we would even have campouts in there with our cousins.  I remember our little imaginations running wild, and we really thought we had our own house.  Anyway, the original plan was for Todd and my dad to build this one, but after realizing the time involved and my dad’s work schedule we knew there was no way to make it happen so I went on a search.  I knew there had to be someone who could build Taylor her little dream house.  Insert confetti and party balloons when I discovered Leonard.  The next day I drove over to North Charleston and we picked out the style we wanted, and we were even able to customize certain details.  It took about six weeks for them to pre- build everything at the warehouse in North Carolina, and then their guys came on site and put it together.  It ended up taking them four days to complete the house, and they worked around the clock.  That little house took a lot of work, and in the end, we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.  Just so you know, this post was not sponsored in any way, shape, or form, and I would 100% recommend Leonard if you guys are looking into playhouses.
