* What a weekend I had! I seriously can’t remember the last time I have laughed so hard or so much. I feel so blessed to have such fun, amazing, and all around good women in my life. Time with the girls is sometimes just what you need. I am pretty sure I could write a book on all the funny stuff that happened, or some of the crazy things we said and did, but I think I should probably just stick with some pictures 😉
True story, on the ride home yesterday we were chatting about how we saw this girls weekend going down in our heads. You know waking up each morning with mimosa’s and coffee cake, and relaxing by the pool. Yeah, that didn’t quite happen. It was more like crawling out of bed chugging water and taking down egg rolls at 8am, then headstands in the grass, followed by a ride on the party bus by 11am. It was such a fabulous weekend, and I am pretty sure I will be recovering for the next 5 days ha!

* Taylor has officially started climbing out of her crib!!!!! Help mamas, this never happened with Carson and I have no idea what to do! I think she is just too small to go to a big girl bed, plus I know she would just get in and out all the time. This past weekend Todd found her wandering the kitchen at 4:00 in the morning! I mean really, the girl is always ready to rock-n-roll 🙂 I think it ended up taking a toll on her  by Sunday though, and she passed out right on the beach!
* Last, because you know I couldn’t leave you on a Monday without some fashion! How pretty is this maxi dress!!! It’s made by the same brand as my romper from last week, so I know the quality is great, and it’s probably super soft!! It comes in two beautiful colors, and I can’t decide which I like best. What’s your vote?

PS Just received this coverup in the mail, and it so beautiful! It’s also on major sale right now too!!!

Looks like a great weekend! Jealous!
Does Taylor's crib convert to a toddler bed? If not maybe you could do a gate at her doorway so she can't get out of her room/into trouble? Good luck!

Fun weekend, so jealous of girl only time! As far as the crib/bed thing, we had to turn around the lock on my older son's door when he started climbing out because I didn't want him to wander the house, feared he's open the gate and fall down the stairs, etc. and it was very unnerving when we moved him to a big boy bed with rails because he kept getting out for like 3 weeks before he got used to it, but eventually it all worked out. I had such anxiety and was pg with my 2nd then! How old is T now?

We had to move my son to a big boy bed at 22 months. He did awesome! First few nights he climbed out but like any other phase it was tough but didn't last. We just had to keep putting him back in. Sticker chart, special treat bribes. Most pediatricians say you have to move them once they start climbing because they could get really hurt. Good luck!

Your trip looked like so much fun! I laughed out loud with Taylor being ready to roll at 4 AM! Crazy girl, do you all have a toddler bed for her? If not maybe try the mattress on the floor for a while till she can adjust to a big girl bed. I love the coral version of that dress, going to go check it out now! Good luck girl & thanks for sharing!!!

What a fun weekend…and I'm sure a much needed break!! Taylor is so adorable, it looks like the beach wore her out!

  10. I had to move my youngest to a toddler bed at 18 months because he was climbing out of his crib. He did fine but I do know people who has installed dutch doors in their kids' room s to keep them from wandering…someone else said above, just turn the lock to the outside! 🙂 Good luck, mama!
