Good morning friends and happy Monday!!
// I cannot believe another Halloween has already come and gone! It was such a good night watching Carson and Taylor trick-or-treat their little hearts out with all their friends. Now I’ve need to figure out a way to get the overflowing amount of candy in our pantry…ha!
// Last Thursday evening, Todd and I attended the Southern Style Now Showhouse oyster roast kickoff! We had such a great time, and I can’t wait to go check out the showhouse this week!
To address a few questions about my dress. Well, it’s super old and sold out, but I found an almost identical dupe with good reviews and the price is amazing!!
Dupe Dress ($35) // Earrings // Gold Pumps (look for less here)
// I am finally getting my booty back in gym mode, and I was proud that I actually made three times last week! Working out makes me feel so much better mentally, but I secretly hate it physically. Does anyone else feel this way?!? On a good note, I do love my “dupe” built-in bra Lululemon tank and leggings for all my barre and endurance classes.
Y-Back Tank // Leggings (feel just like Lululemon) // Sneakers // Water Bottle
// I had a baby shower to host in Columbia on Sunday, so Todd and I decided we would make it an overnight family trip and take the kiddos to the zoo on Saturday. Todd hasn’t been since he was a kid and it’s been years since I took Carson and Taylor.
Oh man, we had the best time!! The weather was perfect and we loved getting see to see all the animals. Watching the monkeys and the sea otters, along with feeding the giraffes were definitely our favorites, but honestly, it was all so much fun to watch and see.
Carson and his love for a funnel cake! But who am I kidding…we all love a funnel cake, and between the four of us, there was only powdered sugar left on the plate by the time we had enough.
And sorry for the photo overload, I just love these guys and watching them laugh and have fun. This is truly what makes me one happy mommy!
Poor Tay with the bright sun in her eyes, but I still love this picture!
And for those who were asking about my outfit details from Saturday, here ya go.
Oversized Sweater // Built-in Bra Tank // Leggings // Necklace // Booties
// After we all woke up on Sunday, we relaxed in our hotel room and watched one of our favorite family movies, A Dog’s Purpose. If you haven’t watched this movie yet, make sure you do asap!
// Before Todd and the kiddos dropped me off at the baby shower, we headed to a fairly new brunch spot in Columbia called 1801 Grille. Holy Moly y’all, it was SO good, and I’m pretty sure Carson ate more food than we’ve ever seen him eat!!
What I wore
// After brunch, Todd dropped me off to help set up for the baby shower and then he met up with his sister and her family (who live right outside of Columbia) at a local park. Todd said the kids were so excited to see each other and they had the best time. I hated I didn’t get to see them, but I was still so happy Todd and the kids were able to spend some time with them.
// And last, but not least, the baby shower was great!! It was so good to see all of my girlfriends that I don’t get to see very often while we showered our sweet friend Marshall with lots of love and goodies for her first baby girl!!
