Hello friends, and happy hump day!!
It’s been a while since I’ve filled you in on things going on around here, so I thought I would catch y’all up with a little of “This and That”.
// Our house is officially spooked out and we are ready for Halloween along with hosting supper club this weekend!
The kids and I had way too much fun decorating our front door and fireplace with all these cool bats and spiders.
// On Saturday, we finally took the kids to the pumpkin patch and we had the best time! As you can see from the picture of our fireplace above, we ended up picking out a bunch of pumpkins.
The hayride is always our favorite, and how funny are those creeps – aka peeps 🙂
You can find my criss cross swing dress here along with size and fit information. Clearly the kids and I forgot our sunglasses, so excuse our squinty eyes…ha!
// Charleston is finally having sweater weather, and I couldn’t be more excited about the cooler temperatures rolling in! Earlier last week, I wore this look and received so many compliments on this $36 twisted back sweater along with my $32 booties.
Twist Back Sweater // Booties // Jeans
(Cross-body is sold out – I found an almost identical one here)
// My new favorite Starbucks drink is the chai tea latte with only one pump of chai plus a shot of expresso! I know that’s kind of random, but a lot of you always ask what I order on Instastories 🙂
Also, my tunic blouse is on major sale and I actually found my exact leopard mules on sale here, and a here’s dupe for only $23!
// My 3-ingredient crockpot chicken has received more dm messages than any recipe I’ve ever mentioned before…haha!! I love that you guys are just like me and like to keep most things in the kitchen quick and easy!
Pollo Asado is from Trader Joe’s and is quite possibly the best tasting chicken I’ve ever tasted. All I did for this recipe is put the the frozen chicken in my crockpot, added one can of diced tomatoes, and half a box of chicken broth. After that, I turned it on low for 10 hours and let it cook all day!
For our side, I roasted broccoli and mushrooms using this simple recipe.
For the kids, I served this chicken in a soft taco shell with cheese and I served it over cauliflower rice with our roasted vegetables on the side for Todd and I. It was really delicious and super healthy, so I am calling this a dinner win for sure!
// And last, but not least, I wanted to mention that Carter’s is having a huge online sale right now! If you watched my stories yesterday you probably saw that I stacked up on winter clothes and a ton of pajamas for both Taylor and Carson.
I mean, how cute is this matching girl and doll set?!? And you can’t beat the $15 price tag for both pieces!!
