Yesterday was one for the books!  Taylor and I had the best day together, and even though our morning on the beach consisted of a photo shoot, we still had the best time.  My photographer, Kim, is more like a sister to me, so I never feel nervous or like I am working when we are on a shoot.  And clearly, Taylor is oblivious that the camera is even there 😉  Here’s a little peek of the pictures I’ll be posting in the morning, so make sure you check back!  And Lilly Pulitzer has quite the surprise as well, but it’s only going on for one day.  And trust me, it’s good!  It’s gifts with purchases like I’ve never seen before!! 

This top may be the best thing Lilly has ever created.  It’s easy to see why it’s already sold out!!  It also comes in solid white, and you better believe it’s on it’s way to me!  For sizing reference, it runs tts and I am wearing the xs.  So if you love this top, I would grab the white now as they are going fast!

Silly confession, when I was younger I used to daydream that I would have a little girl and that we would wear matching Lilly together.  That being said, these dresses make me more than just a little happy 😉 

And when I say yesterday was one for the books, it’s not because it was all rainbows, shopping, and butterflies!  Oh no, the day ended with Taylor and I both in tears, but I am saving this story for a much needed wine talk next week 😉 But with that said, there was lots of shopping, rainbows, and butterflies in the mix of a crazy ending!

// And now I must brag on my little man for a second!  I am so proud and impressed everyday by his drive and excitement to learn!  Carson is such a smart kid and he gives it his all everyday.  Reading started out as a bit of a struggle for him, but he is now knocking it out of the park.  And I can’t tell you how happy this makes both of us.  He has been really into the Magic Tree House books, and everyday after school he takes one outside and reads it “in his fort”, AKA – the top of our swing set. 

// To all my Instagram friends, I finally decided on this dress to wear to the wedding!!!  It was just marked down 40% off yesterday, and it’s absolutely stunning in person!  For sizing reference, I am wearing the xs, and with 4.5 inch heels, I will not have to have it hemmed! 

And speaking of dresses, this one is TO DIE FOR!!!  It has sold out everywhere else, but Nordstrom has a few left and Shopbop has one here.  If my size comes back in stock, I am grabbing this baby up for sure!!
