// My heart is heavy and sad for all the families and homes that have been affected by Hurricane Florence. We were very lucky here in Charleston and only got wind and a little rain while other cities just north of us, especially Wilmington, NC were not so fortunate.

// Todd and I took the kiddos to a new restaurant in Mt. Pleasant called Woodward Tavern. We heard good things about it and really wanted to try it out, and while the kids loved it, Todd and I weren’t crazy about our food. I have to say though, it’s definitely worth stopping in if you love a good milkshake though because they were incredible! 

As soon as they came out Taylor wanted the one Carson ordered. Luckily, he was sweet enough to share, while Todd and I got to enjoy hers which was the s’mores flavor. 

// I’ve been burning this pumpkin candle non-stop since last week! The scent makes me so excited for fall!! It instantly makes me think of s’mores by the fire pit, chia tea lattes from Starbucks, and cool mornings in my favorite cozy cardigan.
