Hey hey hey…happy Monday!!!
It was such a relaxing weekend around here and we are thankful to have had lots of much needed family time!
On Friday, Todd and I invited our neighbor friends and their kiddos over to grill out!  We had the best time with lots of laughs!  I also tried out a new no-mayo recipe and it turned out so good that I thought I should share.
If you do not like mayo (like myself), but love the taste of pimento cheese, you MUST try this recipe! The only thing that I will do different next time is hand mix the ingredients and not use a food processor.  The only reason I say that is because I prefer a less creamy substance.
On Saturday morning, Carson and I headed to the gym.  I wanted/needed to get another workout in for the week and Carson was up for tagging along because his buddies were going to be there, plus, this gave Todd and Taylor some daddy/daughter time, which I think they both enjoyed.  After we came home, I kid you not, I took a shower, made my second cup of coffee, and got back in my pajamas!
(These pajamas are so comfortable and currently 50% off, and this mug, well it pretty much sums up how I feel every weekend 😉

Later Saturday evening, we had a birthday party and the Little Gym for our friends little boy, sweet Davis.  Wouldn’t you know, I didn’t take any pictures, but the kids had so much running and jumping around!  And can we talk about how cute my girlfriend looks pregnant!  We all found out about a month ago she’s having another baby boy and I know Davis is going to make such a good big brother!
On Sunday, Todd and I decided to take the kids to Toys R Us and let them use their gift cards that they received from my parents for Christmas.  Oh man, you talk about kids in heaven 🙂  Carson is officially Lego obsessed, so that is the only aisle he really cared about!
And Taylor, even though she knew what she wanted, had to check out every aisle in the store 😉  Todd says she is just like me, even when I go to a store and know exactly what I want to get, I still like to look at all the other stuff while I am there.  In the end, we came home with more of her beloved mice from the Little Live Pets!
After the toy store we took the kids to eat hibachi!  It had been a while since we had taken Carson and Taylor, so we knew they would enjoy watching the guys cook their food and see the fire show!
This picture cracks me up!  Normally, Taylor is our fearless child, but she was making sure that fire didn’t get her 🙂 But seriously, she was giggling the entire time and she ate more food than I have seen her eat, EVER!  Carson, on the other hand, didn’t love it, but he ate what he knew he had to eat in order to be finished.
Later Sunday evening, Todd and I took the kids to see Alvin and the Chipmunks!  It was such a cute movie, and Taylor made it all the way until the end.  We all enjoyed buttered popcorn, M&M’s, and lots of good laughs!  It was a good day for sure!
And PS….I know a few of you emailed me about my swimsuit I posted last week, so I wanted to let y’all know Nordstrom re-stocked most of the sizes!  And is this cover-up not the cutest ever…as is this one!!
