I am going to take today and have some quiet time for my grandfather who passed away this weekend.
1929-2013
Todd and I are just getting back into town from his funeral. It was such a beautiful service. My grandfather lived a long and full life, and he did a lot with his time here on earth. He served our country in the United States Marine Corps and fought in WWII. He was the deputy sheriff for several years and after that made his living in his backyard running a small engine repair shop. There were three things that I know my grandfather loved. Fishing, getting dressed up, and dancing. Goodness he loved to dance, and there is no doubt in my mind he is cutting a rug up in heaven right now.
So sorry for your loss Caycee! It sounds like he lived a long and fulfilled life!

I am so sorry for your loss. This weekend {9/7} was the anniversary of my grandfather's passing in 2007. He and a friend died in a canoeing accident in Yellowstone Park. It is always a hard thing to start losing close loved ones. My heart goes out to you.
