I am so stumped, as far as art for our dining room along with the baby’s nursery right now. I have been struggling with art for the dining room for a while now and I’m just having a hard time picturing what would look good in this space. My super talented friend, Sara Shrouds has offered to help me out and do a commission for me so I’m hoping we can decide on somthing this weekend. Can you guys tell that I’m starting my nesting early this pregnancy…ha! I feel like I have so many little things around the house that I would like to knock off of my list and complete before baby girl arrives!

I know it’s still super hot outside, but I’ve been craving chili! I found this healthy turkey chili recipe that looks so good so I think I’m going to give it a try tonight. I’ll be sure to let you guys know how it turns out.

Last Saturday, Todd and I went out on a date night and I was so excited to try out Coda Del Pesce. I had heard great things about this place, and Todd and I both love Italian. I’ve got to be honest and say that we weren’t very impressed with our main meals or the dessert. The only thing we liked, or shall I say loved, was the salad we ordered. It was a mix of heirloom tomatoes, burrata cheese, cantaloupe, sopressata, and basil. I know this combination sounds strange, but it was amazing together. I am going to try and recreate it this weekend!

Okay, so I know a lot of you guys are going to think I’m crazy when I tell you what I’ve been loving for fall fashion, but I’m telling you…Express, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Urban Outfitters are not just for high school and college girls anymore! They are all killing it with their sweaters, cardigans, jeans, and even loungewear this season! Below are just a few of my favorite basics I have my eye on right now. And I know you all have mentioned that you would love to see some different retailers so I may just order a few pieces from each site and do a try-on / review session soon!
