It’s truly amazing how art work and a little greenery can really transform a space.  I am not sure why I never thought about moving the art that was in our kitchen into this space, but I’m so happy I did because I love the way it turned out.
I picked up my fiddle fig leaf tree at our local Home Depot in Mt. Pleasant for $90!  That is a total steal compared to what they normally cost if you buy them from a local nursery.  And they had about 20 of them so I would go grab one if you’re local and have been looking.  I am thinking about snagging one more for our upstairs playroom.
I also found this article telling you exactly how you need to take care of you fiddle fig leaf when you get it home.  I am planning on following these directions, so fingers crossed, mine survives for a long time 🙂
I am SO excited to share a really good mini fall Amazon haul this week.  I am hoping to get all the pieces steamed this morning and have a post with size / fit information along with stories ready tomorrow morning!  In the meantime, I did want to share a few pieces that I tried on Saturday and LOVED!!
Sweater and cardigan both run tts, and for reference, I’m wearing them both in a small.  And here’s a peek at how I styled this skirt last year for fall.
Yesterday after church we went to brunch at Grace and Grit.  I forgot how good this place is and they have the best brunch menu on Sunday for kids.  Sorry I didn’t take any pictures of their food or mine…my preggo self was way too excited to dig in…ha!  But I did manage to snap a photo of Todd’s, and since he let me steal a couple of bites, I can tell you it was delicious!

Two things that I am currently addicted to…black tea and this pumpkin spice candle.
I came across this photo while scrolling through my photos the other day and it has me SO ready to decorate for fall and Halloween.  I am thinking I may just have to go ahead and do that this weekend.  Do you guys decorate now or do you wait until October 1st to start busting out all the pumpkins and bats?
You can find all my Halloween decor details from last year in this post and this post
I have been craving these pecan sandies all week long so I’m thinking I may bite the bullet and make them today!  I’ll be sure to let you all know how they turn out on stories.
