It’s truly amazing how art work and a little greenery can really transform a space. I am not sure why I never thought about moving the art that was in our kitchen into this space, but I’m so happy I did because I love the way it turned out.
I picked up my fiddle fig leaf tree at our local Home Depot in Mt. Pleasant for $90! That is a total steal compared to what they normally cost if you buy them from a local nursery. And they had about 20 of them so I would go grab one if you’re local and have been looking. I am thinking about snagging one more for our upstairs playroom.
I also found this article telling you exactly how you need to take care of you fiddle fig leaf when you get it home. I am planning on following these directions, so fingers crossed, mine survives for a long time 🙂

I am SO excited to share a really good mini fall Amazon haul this week. Yesterday after church we went to brunch at Grace and Grit. I forgot how good this place is and they have the best brunch menu on Sunday for kids. Sorry I didn’t take any pictures of their food or mine…my preggo self was way too excited to dig in…ha! But I did manage to snap a photo of Todd’s, and since he let me steal a couple of bites, I can tell you it was delicious!

I came across this photo while scrolling through my photos the other day and it has me SO ready to decorate for fall and Halloween. I am thinking I may just have to go ahead and do that this weekend. Do you guys decorate now or do you wait until October 1st to start busting out all the pumpkins and bats?
