Having two kids just ain’t easy! That being said I wouldn’t have it any other way! Taylor and Carson make my life so unbelievably happy! The bond that they have melts my heart, and they have actually become quite the little playmates. Carson said the other day, “Mama I love my baby sister, and she’s my best friend”. Tear, tear.
That being said, I still try to make time for just me and my little man. After all it was just me and him for so long. So last week I though of the perfect idea. I could tell Carson just needed some one on one time with me.
We had a mini date across the street while Taylor napped. Don’t worry I locked the door and took the monitor with me 😉 I just threw down a blanket, packed up some strawberries (his favorite), and grabbed three new books that he got for Easter. It was the perfect little date, and I could tell it made him so happy. {Daddy was on his lunch break, so naturally I had him snap some pictures for me}.
I need to do this more often.
