I had originally planned to write this post before the New Year, but my weekly doctor appointment turned into a 6 hour stay at MUSC on the day I planned to write it. Everything is perfectly fine and baby girl is doing great, but for some reason her heart rate was elevated during a routine ultrasound.
That being said, they sent me over to the labor and delivery floor to monitor her heart rate for a few hours. Thankfully, it went down within 45 minutes and none of the doctors seemed concerned at all. I remember this same thing happening with Carson so I wasn’t too scared, but it was still an unsettling feeling. Todd and I were so relieved when it went back down.
Speaking of baby girl, I’ve got to make some major birth decisions by early next week about my scheduled c-section. I’ll be sure to share everything with you guys next week once I decide on what I’m going to do and I’ll also be sharing everything in my hospital bag as well. I have had a huge request to share that and I’m happy to report that I’ve already taken pictures of everything and I have it all packed up waiting by the door.
